The short version
Your screen-time data never leaves your iPhone. We can't see which apps you use, how long you use them, or what you block — Apple's Screen Time architecture keeps that data on your device, and we built Sleepy Lion to keep it that way.
What stays on your device
App usage durations, the apps you mark as distracting, session history, and progression data are stored locally on your iPhone. The apps you select are represented by anonymous system tokens — even Sleepy Lion's own code cannot read which apps they are.
What we collect
During the beta: nothing. No analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no behavioral tracking. If you email us, we see your email address and what you wrote — that's it. If accounts and subscriptions are added later, this policy will be updated first, and collection will stay limited to what those features require (such as an email address and subscription status).
Permissions
Sleepy Lion requests Screen Time permission (Apple's Family Controls framework) solely to display your usage and shield the apps you choose. You can revoke it at any time in Settings → Screen Time, which disables blocking.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and your data goes with it — it only ever lived on your device.
